Not to nit-pick but we've already played some FBS teams and have a feel how our current talent stacks up.

It would not surprise me to see USA pick up one or two fbs wins and go 4-10 but also would not surprise me to see USA 1-10 or 2-10 depending on how MTSU and FAU rebounds which is more than likely what might happen

Playing 'some' isn't the same as playing 11 or 12.

From past experience, it's easy for a underdog to get hyped for a big game or two....but a whole schedule of it will beat a young team up. WKU always played ranked teams close and almost pulled off a couple while being fcs, then the move to fbs was a whole new story

4-10? Interesting number of games. But I get your point. MT and FAU, interesting two teams to watch. Hoping the Raiders can get a win at Mississippi State next year (not holding my breath though). I will definitely be focusing in on the SBC next year...

You still screwed up! USA plays 13 games next year because we took WKU's spot at Hawaii. 03-drunk

Most USA fans are predicting three wins next year - the two FCS contests and one FBS.

Really looks like 5-6 teams could win the SBC next year, so good luck in recruiting. Hopefully the winner next year will be ranked in the top 25.

Troy will be back next year. CLB has never had back to back losing seasons. We may not win the SB. But we will have 7+ wins

Btw this is my season end prediction. Not pre
Season prediction from the coaches

You really think MT is going to be better then UNT next season? You do know we blasted them 59-7?

Also, Troy has to come to Apogee next season.

Just saying but Apogee isn't exactly death valley....Troy's losses last season mainly result of bad chemistry and bad coaching.

Troys losses last year were due to the Trojans putting fewer points on the board. Chemistry and bad coaching, etc is nothing more than excuses. Apogee may not be death valley, but it is home to the Mean Green.

So has the pre-season favorite ever followed up and won it? or is it like the Sports Illustrated curse.

I want to say that Troy must of been picked as a favorite and then won the confrence.

Same thing happened to Troy in 2011 that happened to North Texas in 2005. Favored to win again, but the wheels came off

Why would you put the Cajuns in the same group as NT and Troy?

Because I think next year the Cajuns belong in the same group as NT and Troy...are you seriously getting defensive? I predicted the same #1 and #2 from this year. NT has a VERY favorable schedule, and I think Troy will be on their way back up. Good grief.

Hey, can you swap Troy and USA? Seriously, we play better as the underdog...04-cheers...and we've got a whole lot of making up to do from this past season...04-rock

You obviously haven't been paying attention. Do you realize we are playing fbs teams next year? I'm for real. Like 10 of them. In a row. With maybe only one off week. I say we call it off now before someone gets seriously hurt.

You're right. We need to think of the kids and end this right now.

We are all wasting our time with these predictions. Jacksonville State is going to win it all next year.
