GoDaddy Bowl - 38,734
Nice crowd for a late kick and Sunday night.

Kudos to the ASU fans. They almost filled the entire side of the stadium!!

We'll be back next year to take care of unfinished business. Just make sure the game clock is fixed and those crappy refs don't return. Also get some batteries for the head ref so we can hear him.

Crappy result but nice showing at the bowl.

Hopefully next year we get a team in the top 25.

I'd like to take the credit for that, but it's far from the truth.

The people of Mobile really turned out for that game. They filled in the ends of our side of the stadium, end zones, and a large portion of the NIU side.

They really showed up in large numbers!!! I was very impressed by the local turnout.

If they could get a new stadium, it would be a really good bowl game.

Mobile folks always turnout for the game. Too bad some other bowls aren't like that

They did turn out but the ASU turnout was amazing. IN the 10K range on a Sunday night 8+ hours away is impressive. A lot of midmajors can't get that many to drive across town for a home game.

RE: GoDaddy Bowl - 38,734
I loved everything about Mobile up to the part where we were at the stadium.

Before the game the concession stands had basically no food. The drinks were the same temperature as it was outside. The people behind us were from Mobile and were very friendly but they were pissed that they couldn't get any food for the kids and left at halftime.

The game management wasn't very good, did a poor job of getting the teams on the field at the right times and of course the clock failed and the ref mike system barely worked.

Lot of easily fixable things and except for the clock, all are cheap to fix.

The concessions are always a problem. The clock and mic issues typically don't occur during other games played at Ladd. I'll be glad when we get out of there, but I'm afraid it will be several years.

The worst part of the game for us was some drunk hollerin' roll tide! everytime the started Arkansas State cheer...he didn't look like he could spell it anyway...:muttering:

Why did so many people leave just after halftime? One half of an entire side was suddenly empty and the other side didn't look like it was ever full.
