Since this thread has expanded beyond just athletics . . . WKU has spent $500M in construction since 1998 and another $200M will be completed by 2012. WKU has also been the fastest growing university in KY every year for the last 14 years.

Nothing special at TROY aside from the new arena... TROY needs dorms... We have no room on campus for incoming students and the city can't keep up with the University's growth when building apartment complexes. I've heard admissions is rejecting students because the lack of housing. Last semester they had to start a "Housing Lottery."

Oh, yeah. There's that too. It's kinda big. That image reminds me once again of that gaping hole in the northwest corner of Floyd Stadium... that should be the first place they look to add more seats when (if...) they renovate anytime soon.

Nah. Leave that hole as long as possible. Looking out to the Murphy Center isn't bad at all.

Troy is getting a huge 5 story tall field house in its football stadium. Adding about 15-20more suits and a few more thousand for seating.
