I'm still pissed you guys got saddled with San Diego State. The environment in the dome and on Bourbon Street would have really been something with a more regional opponent.

I'm just pissed that they wear red too. I wanted the contrast of fanbases to be more obvious.

You have to think that other bowls may watch what happens with this game. It could shift the philosophy for selecting teams based upon having a regional team in the game to boost attendance. Only the major bowl games should be national.

Could you imagine if ULL was facing off against an opponent from an adjoining state?
