Is 30-28 considered a shootout?

Depends on your definition of a shootout I guess

If you don't get more than 30 points each from both teams it ain't a shootout (the three examples don't fit that bill). Stats are a different matter but fans think points when they think of a shootout. That's my thought on the matter. I'll agree that the meaning can vary but points play a huge part in the definition.

Nice article... But take the over on ASU and NIU. No way NIU holds ASU under their average for the year. The only way the under is good is if ASU's defense shuts down the Huskies.

I'm not trying to sound critical...but I do think of a shootout as both teams in the 40 pt range. NIU has been in some shootouts.
