3 of the starting Mean Green O-linemen were freshmen. Really something to build on.

Likewise for MT on the D-Line.

And we did this with r-FR 6'1 288 DT Pat McNeil and FR 6'2 305 DT J.D. Jones both going down for the year in camp.

RE: All-Freshman Football Team
ASU did not have to play many freshmen, or sophomores for that matter, but have the best group of underclassmen they have had since moving up to the FBS. IMO they, as a group, are more talented than the current upperclassmen who put together this 10 win season.

Probably the same at most SBC teams because of the better talent being signed across the board.

Chandler Worthy (#89) is going to be a special player for us. He and Eric Thomas (#3) will anchor our receiving corps for the next few seasons.

RE: All-Freshman Football Team
I'm not gonna lie, I'm afraid of Jake Medlock. That kid is gonna be something special. Say what you want, I thought he was the best QB on that team. Carrol is a game manager who won't win you a game, but won't lose a game for you, Medlock though seems like a kid who (in time) can put a team on his back and win a game.

With that said, I cant wait till Alonzo Harris really comes into his own, this season was just a taste, I think that he will be the next great SBC back.
