This is what bowls should be. Top teams from one conference playing against top teams from another conference. Not teams from the same conference playing one another. And not 2 teams with a crummy record but lots of fans.
Would help if you guys would be good sports and let 3-4 of your assistants have long Christmas breaks starting, say....... this week. Be sure to including both coordinators and tell them the don't have to come back until after the bowl game, because they have earned the time off. Might throw in you HC for good measure and have one of the other guys fill in for him.

Who only scored 23 on WMU) We will see but as skeptical as people are on NIU's O. I'm just as skeptical about stAte's D. I think we both know NIU's D is a joke tho.

Illinois was our coach's first game. I think the o-line and defense made huge strides after the first couple of games.

I dont want an excuse. Just eat it and say stAte's defense didn't play well against the best statistical offense they played. They didnt play bad, but they didn't play well. And WMU's D did a better job. Or even if it wasn't the best offense stAte played, WMU's aweful D still did better.

Sounds reasonable to me. It's not uncommon for a team to play poorly early on. They held Va Tech to 26 two games later. Obviously this is all speculation. My hunch based on what I've seen is that ASU wins this game. BTW if NIU loses, don't be like a lot of these punks and disappear after the game.

First of all I didn't disappear last year second of all. I think stAte will win after seeing how many times NIU has had an off game... but I don't think the SBC has defenses like they claim.
