Thanks alot Rick Stockstill and Todd Berry!!

Personally, I have no problem with the teams that either Stockstill or Berry selected for top 25. Arkansas State is a top 30 team but they're not Top 25 by a long shot. Coaches are supposed to be honest with themselves when they vote on this poll. If Berry or Stockstill vote for ASU solely because they're a Sun Belt team then these guys aren't being honest.

You guys can be homers all you want...and I can't blame you...but you vote for teams that you believe must be ranked the way they should be. Only four coaches voted for ASU, including Hudspeth (who put ASU at #25, barely in there).

The only homers we have here is the coaches in the SUN Belt that did not vote for there own confernce team mates. Do you not think that the BCS schools vote to keep non-AQ schools out of the money?

Being a coach of a JUCO does not surprise me of the way he voted. There is a reason why most of us would like JUCO to run to 1-AA. And you wonder why you get no respect!! 04-chairshot

And again Lafite can't argue a point and has to go to silly, juvenile insults. Someone has an opinion different for you and you start the same old BS.

How about the thought that Berry and Stockstill didn't think they were in the top 25? I am willing to give both of them the benefit of the doubt. Looking at their ballots, I really don't have an issue with either one of them. I also don't have an issue with the 4 coaches who did vote for ASU. I sincerely hope that coaches are voting for who the honestly believe are the best 25. If you have that and you have an SBC school getting votes then you know we are starting to arrive as a conference and don't give a sh*t if it is ULM or NT or Troy or ASU or even ULL (sorry for those I left out).

Who are you calling juvenile? What about this crap that you wrote? Looks like the shoe fits to me!!

"Normally I would agree with you and I would want all the SBC teams to win...just plain helps with the image of the conference. However, based on the fans of ULL who post over at the SBC forum, I really can't pull for them at all. I will cheer my heart out for ASU and for FIU. I even wanted WKU to get a bowl. But I just may be an Aztec fan during the New Orleans bowl."

Take it to the bank!! 05-mafia

Hmmm...a comment made on a fan site about how it could be hard to pull for someone because of they way their fans act on this board compared to you immediately insulting a school because you disagreed with someone's opinion. I have watched people insulted, called names, given negative rep for just stating an opinion and it comes from one location. I have watched seemingly innocent threads with some good news in it be turned into regular b*tch fests.

Instead of you rebutting SOT 1977's comment with why you think coaches should support other schools in the conference in voting, you immediately launched into JUCO this and 1aa that.

Respect is a two way street.

John, so this is typical of you guys. You and other ULM fans say and do things on your site and then come here acting like you have no idea why UL fans are so hostile to you guys. You guys are tremendous actors and play the victim very well on this site, and you've even found a number of sympathetic suckers here that have bought in to your stage act. It’s even more entertaining when Arrowhead, you and few others come here stating that you don’t understand why UL doesn’t have your back? UL fans and alumni are not going to forget what you guys have done and continue to do in constantly inferring in our branding direction with our athletics. The difference between UL fans and ULM fans is that we display our emotions honestly, we don’t hide our dislike for ULM or it fans. You guys do it behind close doors on your own web site and come here pretending that you wouldn’t cut UL’s throat if you had the chance, yet your fans and athletic administration have done it all along. ULM fans are no different then Louisiana Tech’s or UL fans, you just do in private.

Now the moderators can move this thread to the smack folder.

I think you see only what you want to see. Smack comes in all shapes and sizes. And it wasn't a Cajun fan that suggested that ULM basketball be sent off.

I've had some very lively discussions with you, and though I disagree with you (frequently) I've done nothing but show you respect that I think you personally have deserved and give you positive rep.

Now, some of your other fans, on the other hand....well, they sow what they all too frequently reap. For instance, I still haven't seen anyone on your board suggest that the rank libel they have been trying to spread about our coach is wrong and I certainy haven't seen those comments taken down.

But I think the bulk of the current animosity is totally centered around brand respect. I've done my level best to respect yours (ULM). But NONE of your fans are willing to respect our brand choice.

RE: Two Sun Belt Coaches did not vote for stAte
Berry probably figures when ULM plays a team that close no way they could be Top 25.

Stockstill probably mailed in his ballot weeks ago just like the season.
