It is simply too much for me to take five seconds out of my time to move my mouse and click. So, by following the previous example I will now *****, whine, and complain like a little baby until it is brought back here. I'm going to whine and whine and whine and whine and whine and whine and whine and whine and whine and whine because apparently that gets you what you want around here. Besides everybody has to do what I WANT because that is the way it should be. To hell with all you other losers it is MY WAY or the highway.

I hope that you are wrong. I really enjoy our OT threads, they give everyone a way to connect outside of sports. I've really gotten to know some folks through those threads.

I agree. Which means that people's activity here will drop probably too. Maybe not significantly but probably some.

this forum has become more than just a sports discussion board. IMO, it has become a community where our members come to relax and discuss topics of the day with people they view as friends. That's how I look at it and I'm certain I'm not alone.

I agree. The new forum is stupid and is as useless as the posters who made it happen with their constant whining.

this does not set presedent, simply whining about something will not get your way. we had that board created because the OT threads were stacking up and we decided that we did indeed need a board for that type of thing. I don't want anyone here to think they can simply complain until they get their way, because that is not how it works here.

if you think it IS how it works, you COULD find yourself on vacation. we have members currently on vacation and I assure you it is not in Hawai'i.

I agree. Which means that people's activity here will drop probably too. Maybe not significantly but probably some.

I doubt the activity here will drop, people who are passionate about their teams will continue to come here to converse with people of institutions that are their conference peers, if for nothing else, there are no other active SBC sports forums.

As for the OT stuff, I was on the side of getting a discussion forum because the OT stuff just got to be to much. If that makes me a whiner, than so be it. Like I said, it has its place, but just not on a sports forum. I would hope it will do well, and in fact, I think that it will do better than just having all the random OT threads on here. It should/will encourage more people to take part in the discussion because they know that's what that forum is there for.
