Last year, Middle Tennessee won 4 total non-conference games against D-1 opponents.

6 days into the 2011-12 season, they've already won 3.

As a whole, the conference is 11-13 against D-1 opponents this year. Compare that to 52-88 overall last season.

Great strides by Middle this year, and it's looking more and more like a respectable year for the conference overall. Very encouraging first week of the season.
