HAHAHA yeah, Sucks that we are at worst going to be 9-2 tomorrow and conference champions with a seeded ticket to the playoffs.

03-shhhh

Good luck against Alabama tomorrow. No offense, I hate watching that triple option stuff. Designed to keep inferior teams hanging in there with normal teams. Gets real boring unless you have a couple guys running it as good as you did a few years ago.

Yeah, we did the air raid ***** stuff from 07-09, that was some of the most boring stuff i've ever seen.

Our offense is still pretty boring because we have a SLOW quarterback this year but being ranked in the top 5 and going to the playoffs is a lot less boring than losing to D-II schools, I don't care if you pass every play.

I'll be amazed if we can keep it within 7, that'd be a pretty reasonable moral victory for our fan base.

Sorry for getting off topic, this thread is about D-I teams getting beat by NAIA and D-II schools.

To each his own. I think it's exciting. Something big can happen on EVERY play whether it goes up the middle or outside (pitch or no pitch) anything can happen if 1 guy on defense doesn't do his job. There is fumble possible on every pitch, and when they decide to throw they're usually big gains. The triple option is always moving forward, milking the clock while still taking little time between plays. There are more "do or die" situations on 4th down since you expect to get at least a couple yards on each down. Even off the ball there are exciting things happening, every block matters, every shift, every player matters on every play.

yep, our FB just gashed bama for a 82 yrd TD. Although down 24-14 we are running all over them. More yards in the 1st half than they have given up all season. Take away our blocked chip shot field goal that Alabama ran back for a TD and it would be 17-17 at the half.

180 yrds rushing 219 yards total offense in the fist half. Not bad for a FCS team!

I can promise you, there will be a purge. It starts Sunday. If you do not want to be here and if clubbing and chasing women and smoking weed is more important than going to class, film work and S&C then you will be a Greyhound. Get Right or Get Left.

Wow...Bill Curry has been clubbing, chasing women and smoking weed 04-jawdrop First Paterno, now this!

Panama, I believe we held our own today. Bama had their starters in the ENTIRE game and were doing all they could to score a passing TD with 30 seconds to go in the 4th for a 45-21 win. GSU put up 21 points, 302 rushing yards and 341 yards of total offense against the Bama starters which is the most points and yards Bama has given up this year. We were gashing them all day on offense, we just couldn't slow down Richardson enough. They kept Richardson in almost the entire game as he had 32 carries for 175 yards.

Yards given up by Bama this year:

Georgia Southern: 341
Penn State: 251
LSU: 239
Arkansas: 226
Florida: 222
Vanderbilt: 190
North Texas: 169
Tennessee: 155
Ole Miss: 141
Miss State: 131
Kent State: 90

Good showing by the Socon as Samford was close against Auburn in the 4th, Furman was leading Florida in the 4th and Citadel was close to South Carolina most of the game.

1st string, 2nd string, 3rd string or 4th string? They pulled the starters after the 1st quarter against Ga State and were up 49-0 at the half.
