Congrates to ASU.....
I just flew in from Jonesboro about 20 minutes back and wanted to say congrates to ASU fans. The Red Wolves were just better and deserve the championship. State fans were cordial and I enjoyed talking to few after the game. Best of luck the rest of the way.

Congrats to ASU...they were the better team. 5 turnovers won't cut it. At least we have New Orleans.

I'm going to offer my congratulations too.
Now that we are out of contention I'm a big stAte fan. It will make the bowl selection process easier if state wins outright.

I also wanted to add that it's very difficult to win when you spot a very good team two touchdowns.

from FIU.
Here's hoping you too have turned a major corner in your development as a strong non-AQ performer.

Congrats to ASU! Your defense played a good game, especially #99. He pretty much raped our tackles all game.

RE: Congrates to ASU.....
Thanks Cajun fans. It was a good game. The momentum teetered back and forth....fortunately for us, it landed in our favor at the end. I'm just glad we were in Jonesboro for it.
Your fans turned out in surprising numbers. I only got a couple of photos of the lower deck, but you guys had at least that many in the upper as well.
(Granted, it is hard to tell who is who'....but generally, the end section of the lower and upper decks are for the visitors.)

Let me weight in and say congratulations to Arkansas State. You are now one win away from the championship.
Make us all proud in the GoDaddy.com Bowl!!!!

:) A few do.
Our Governor sits in that middle section of the upper deck....and has for many years. He doesn't miss many games, but I believe he did miss the Tuesday game this year.
This was a really good game, with two surprisingly good teams. I believe we are both headed for a very good future if we can hang on to our coaches long enough.

I think both teams will be sweating out Ole Miss's coaching search. Let's hope they both stay and next year we can be talking about another big match up with SBC title implications in Lafayette. Congrats to ASU...sew the Godaddy.com Bowl invite up, we Cajuns are tired of waiting for our New Orleans bowl invite!!!

As I tell Cajun fans about Hudspeth, there really isn't anything either program can do if a better program is ready to dump money on either coach. Both are Southern boys, so I don't anticipate either going out west away from family just for money. In the long run, if both are hired away two things will have happened for both programs, they will be prepared to win with a new staff and improvements to the programs will already be in place. Its really a no lose situation.

If we lose our coach, I promise you the caliber of applicants will be much higher than it was this time last year and I think we did pretty good with the applicants we had... don't you?
