I was upset that College Football live decided to dedicated the entire day to the PSU scandal. We were bombarded enough with stuff all year long, as Joey points out in his blog, at least let us have some football during football season.

Its just crazy man just to think how many scandals are out there today. I just wished we could talk football on the boards every day. That's what brings us to various message boards. The Pitt board is more dedicated to the PSU story than actual football.

I will say it's better than it was the past two weeks. When every thread was people saying Marrone should be fired.

It really depends on your team. Some of us have less to cheer for.

This is the single biggest scandal to ever rock the CFB world IMO. This is historical, and especially for those fan bases like Pitt, Syracuse, WVU, etc. who either shared a long history with PSU from our eastern indie days or even share a state with them in Pitt's case, we have had a lot of exposure to PSU. I am not shocked in the least that it is thoroughly dominating everyone's thoughts. From a Pitt alumnus perspective who grew up in WPA, it is not a stretch to state that a number of us may know families who have had contact with Sandusky through FB camps either in a positive or very negative way.

It's also difficult because as a Pitt fan there is nowhere to really go talk about Pitt football right now. Our season has been so disappointing that nobody really wants to talk about it. It's unfortunate that the diversion people are focused on is the Penn State scandal but that's the news right now.

I know we all wish it wasn't.

This whole season has been wheels off. First with the ACC move, and then the bitter comments over on the BE board, and now the Penn State scandal. The headlines are as much off the field as on.

Is this scandal what the OJ murder case was to the 90s and Vick dog fighting case was to the 2000s ? Sure seems that big. The sports scandal of the decade and the decade just started.

It's bigger. JoePa will be gone. The PSU president will be fired. The PSU AD has already been fired. Most of the PSU coaching staff will be terminated. Who knows about sanctions. Who knows how many other coaches once connected to Paterno & PSU will be tainted for knowing something but not doing anything (ie. the NJ used car salesman).

College Football live covered nothing but the the PSU scandal again today [weds]. Only this time they didn't warn us at the beginning. Too bad there's nothing else to talk about like maybe the ranked VT@GT game coming on in 14 hours. It doesn't have to be VT@GT though, any football would be appreciated.

Hopefully now w/ JoePa and Spanier out, the news will focus more on Sandusky and the children.

Let's just hope this new rumor isn't true. If it is it's even worse than the news we've heard the last few days.

What do you think the over/under is on the number of weekdays will go until we hear about something other than the PSU scandal on CFL?

I'd guess Monday would be the first day we could hear about something other than the PSU scandal. And thats depending on whether or not how much more info comes out.

This is stupid. in the last year there is 3 just right off of my mind. Ohio State, UNC, and PSU.
