i need to know if this is a conference policy or just a western policy.

whenever they go to review a play western NEVER shows the play in question on the video board. never.

a friend of mine said louieville does it all the time at papa john's stadium and also said uk does it at commonwealth stadium.

i can understand why the refs would not want that to happen. you might only get one veiw and it could fire up us yokels.

is this a conference policy to not show the replay?

My understanding is that the NCAA strongly encourages schools to not show plays being reviewed. The video crew at ASU used to be pretty good about getting the replay in before the ref announced the previous play is under review. :)

not sure but having watched several conference games on TV and the internet they never show the replay once they start the review...at least I haven't seen it. Probably a good thing, I believe.
