For the poll to even be remotely accurate it would require every one who voted to have been to every city and truthfully, it would require every voter to have been to every city multiple times two fans impressions of Lafayette could be vastly different. What if a fan voting for Lafayette based upon having visited this season, had visited at the end of the 3-9 campaign in 2007? Two completely different situations.

You're either just trying to get me riled up, or you really are a buffoon. Either way it doesn't bother me, but any reasonable person can see the multiple flaws in this poll, which is evidenced by how many people have posted replies pointing out the flaws.

I'm banking on the former that you're just trying to rile me up and you know that the poll means very little, because I don't think you're that stupid. Furthermore, you dodged the question about how many cities you've been to. If the o/u was set at 6, I'd take the under to the bank.
It's also just a poll. But whether it's baseball, softball, basketball, or football, visitors always have great things to say about coming to Lafayette. I'm sure some of the non-Cajuns who voted for Lafayette came during the 3-9 season. We are good fans and good people. I don't see how hard that is for you to comprehend. Regardless of winning or losing, we like to see visitors in Lafayette as long as they are not wearing purple and nacho cheese.

I don't see why it's so important that this poll is flawed. If it so meaningless...why care? Why whine about it? If you don't agree with it...don't pay attention to it. Seems pretty simple, but it's apparent you enjoy hitting your head against a wall.

I have been to most Sun Belt cities save for Denver and Little Rock. Mobile is very awesome place to visit. Miami is fun...but it's Miami. Troy is just awful as is Denton. Jonesboro and Murfreesboro are nice cities that I would live in. Monroe is a hole. Lafayette is just the total package.

I'm not trying to rile you up...your doing a fine job of that by yourself.

I'm not whining about jack, you're the one claiming "it's a runaway" when it's a flawed poll and the majority of votes for nearly every school came from their own fans. Personally I think the only runaway is Miami's nightlife.

If you want to take this poll as meaning something, then be my guest, but I'll tell you one thing friend, I'm certainly not riled up.

I think you are a little riled up. I must be doing something right since you keep replying. One good thing about you pikapp...your persistent. That's a good virtue to have. That still doesn't change the poll...which is a runaway...for the Cajuns.

I could get a runaway poll that said Lafayatte was a sh*t hole if I asked the right people.

Speaking of persistence, you trying to pass off this joke of a poll as anything of consequence is awfully persistent, so i guess that's a trait we share.04-cheers
Your so riled up...and you don't even know it(Swingers reference!!!). Your fun pikapp...I like you.

RE: Best Sunbelt town?
I've been to Mobile (of course), Denton, Monroe, Lafayette, Bowling Green, Murfreesboro, and Troy. My favorites is based on town/basketball as I haven't been able to tailgate or go to Belt football games yet.

My rank for the cities for the current Sun Belt members I've been to:

Mobile -- of the SB cities I been to it's hard to beat.
Murfreesboro -- worst hotel ever but a good overall trip..
Bowling Green -- Small, quaint town. I found it funny the stop lights are numbered. Makes me chuckle. People were pretty nice overall
Lafayette -- nice town, but didn't leave a great lasting impression. Hotel was screwed up, and people were rude
Denton -- I don't remember anything being around me where I stayed near the campus. But Denton gets points for R-Bar having an Alabama Slammer special for us Jag Fans that went there
Monroe -- not too much there but it beats Troy
Troy -- there is a school there. That's about it. It's the smallest city in the Sun Belt!

They heard you were a GSU fan in Lafayette, so it's understandable why they were rude to you!03-lmfao

RE: Best Sunbelt town?
I find it weird that so many people like Mobile. I find Mobile to be a complete and total DUMP. Visiting this past year for the GoDaddy Bowl, many restaurants and stores were out of business downtown and there was NOTHING to do. Not to mention that the high school stadium is in the middle of a cemetery and the projects. Mobile was AWFUL.

Sounds like a lot of City of Louisiana (Thanks, Dahbeed) hotel employees may actually be posters on this board.

We had to wait an hour and thirty minutes for our hotel room! And it was like 6pm.. Well after check in time! And members of the Cajun Pep Band cussed us out for wearing a USA shirts. Classy classy.

I find it funny with all I said its only the Cajun fans that took exception. Z, I don't hate the Cajuns at all. I actually think USA vs the Cajuns can be a hell of a rivalry. It already is in baseball and basketball. And if you noticed, I stopped referring to you as ULL in all posts within the past several months and I refer to you by the Cajuns. I don't hate your school. I like your school being in the same conference as USA. But Lafayette wasn't my favorite experience city-wise. Oh and btw, the other time you considered me "hating" your school was when I predicted WKU to beat the Cajuns in football, and I was right. I wasn't hating your school, just posting my opinion as everyone else does.
