Me too, but the 10% unemployment for the profession is turning me off to pursuing it further. I know a lot was caused by the housing crash, and I'd like to get a feel for the future of the profession from someone with closer knowledge of the profession.

A lot of it depends on where you are and what you want to do. Would designing Taco Bells be "artistically" beneath you? A lot of architects say yes, but there is plenty of that type of work to be done.

Who knows what the economy will look like once you're out of your internship.
