What's new when it comes to football ticket sales at the four major colleges within two hours of Parkersburg - namely WVU, Marshall, Ohio U. and Ohio State.
At Ohio State, with the available season tickets quickly snapped up every year to contribute to 20 straight home sellouts and crowds routinely over 100,000, the best most of the ardent, but left out Buckeye fans can hope for is the opportunity to get a chance to purchase single-game tickets.
But even then, most of those tickets will only be offered to the general public for the first three 2005 home games - Miami, Ohio (Sept. 3), Texas (Sept. 10) and San Diego State (Sept. 17) - before the students arrive on campus, or possibly at mid-week before a home game if a smattering of tickets scattered throughout the recesses of Ohio Stadium are available or if a small amount of SRO tickets exist.
Fans can call the OSU ticket office at 1-800-GO-BUCKS to check on any ticket possibilities.
