Considering the way people have trashed South Florida, especially C-USA fans and some Big East fans, why are people shocked that South Florida fans are pissed off and fighting back? South Florida is in the Big East, period. Why they're in doesn't matter, they're in. I hear people say that the only reason UC is in the Big East is basketball. Well, if basketball is what got us in the Big East then we deserved to get in. People say that South Florida is only in the Big East because of their market and potential. If that is what the Big East wanted then South Florida deserved to get in. The Big East can choose whoever they want to choose. If I'm a South Florida fan I just sit back and relax and live life. South Florida is where a lot of schools want to be: In a BCS conference. They are in an excellent recruiting bed and in a conference that wants them. People in the Big East ripping South Florida and saying they didn't "deserve" to get in or didn't "earn" their way in need to get over it. They're in, they're conference brethren, they bring a lot to the table, just enjoy the conference as is.

My sentiments exactly. I just dont understand why USF is constantly being attacked on this board. Their fans have been for the most part standup folks. I think their will be a lot of digesting of words in the next couple of years regarding USF.

Once USF start to win some FB games, they will be fine. They do need to bring some local support team however. The PITT game last year on ESPN was an embarassment to say the least with the attendance. It looked like 6000 people were there. Hopefully, they will have better games and better attendance this year.

Exactly. It gets tiring having people twist words around. You would have to be in denial if you don't think that having a Florida school in the conference was a plus in getting a Florida bowl.
