i think that would lead to the so called bcs conferences to possibly leave the ncaa and do their own thing. or possibly start their own rank in ncaa. just my 2 cent

His proposals aren't that bad in my opinion. He's not saying eliminate 1-AA and 1-A in effect but basically schools/conferences that wish to participate in a playoff can be 1-AA and those that wish to participate in the current bowl system can be 1-A. He's also saying allow as much cross-participation as people wish. That I don't agree with, programs like Buffalo or Temple are going to then load up on 1-AA teams in the schedule. I think the new rule of allowing 1 1-AA team a year is much better than the old rule or this guy's proposed regulation.

There is no question that 1-A will continue to grow. More and more schools are finding the money to spend. I say, the more the merrier, who cares. Nobody forced USF or UAB to stay 1-AA. Lets these schools have room to grow, that is, unless one is affraid of the competition.
