Good Game FIU
Well it was a hard fought game and you guys came out on top. Pretty sloppy play by the Panthers, probably helped us stay in it. Our offense once again was aweful and we had to lean on the D...which wore out in the second half as you would expect.

Once again, good game and congrats.

I think this puts us out of bowl possibilities.

Thanks for the props, and you are totally right about the game. From a FIU's fan perception a win is a win, and given the way we've been losing in the 4th quarter, we'll take it. Regardless of it all, both teams did fight all the way till the end.

I think our issues boil down to an inability to run the football. defenses drop 5 or 6 defensive backs and with these inexperienced/young receivers not getting seperation Corey has to double clutch. it's resulted in a lot of sacks and him having to throw the ball away.

I don't think its all on the receivers, because they are pretty good. We're having problems on the O Line. The right side of the line just flat, ain't gettin' it done. There is still time to salvage this season, but the time for gettin' it done next week is over...get it done now. It starts with Navy and we're going to have to have a ton of points, but the don't defend the spread very well. That is our only saving grace, at this point...

trojanbrutha, it's all inter-connected. the run game is no threat so defenses load up on DB's. that results in our receivers not getting seperation and Corey having to wait for something to open up. the offensive line can't hold long enough for that to happen and the pressure comes. then CR has nothing to do but eat it or throw it away.
