Not according to Google or Mapquest. Plus, less than that from Denton to Arlington.

RE: ULM NT game moved up
Does anyone else think baseball season should be a month shorter? I love baseball, growing up in Atlanta I would go to about a game a week in high school, and still watch most Braves games thanks to MLB TV, but as I get older I find myself losing interest come August and judging by T.V ratings I think I might not be alone.
I would not mind if about 20 games were cut from the schedule and even think spring training can be cut in half of it's current month long format
What does everyone else think?

It blows my mind that they play 162 games. How in the world did that number get decided upon?
How about 132 games, I don't see how they expect people to watch games 20-100 with any interest, I watched every rangers game(and mavericks) from 1997 to 2006, then with both franchises I dropped off a bit. I stopped watching the Mavs altogether after we got screwed by the refs against the Heat in 2006, then started watching regularly again in 2009, thank god they won it all this year, because I don't know if I would have been back for the (lack of a) season this year. With the Rangers, it was the same deal, after 2006, my interest weltered until about 35 games in to the 2010 season. But I must admit, it's hard to watch baseball, and this is coming from someone who loves baseball, it starts in March and ends in October? It just seems like overkill to me. 162? That's outrageous.
BTW, ESPN made me lose interest in the sport. I guess they think that everyone who likes baseball wants 25% of their coverage devoted to Yankees/Red sox. When the reality is, most people outside Boston/NY(besides the complete douches who are from lets say Abilene, Texas, yet are die hard born yankees fans, come on man wtf?) don't give two ***** about it. ESPN is like EA sports, they have no competition for their product, therefore then can do anything they want without risk of losing viewers/customers. See EA's terrible NCAA series that has been broken since 2005.
