Cardinal fans... (Sandman, et al.)

<a href='http://www.cfbpalace.net/index.php?module=TeamPage&func=futureSchedules&show=ooc&tid=69' target='_blank'>Louisville Future Opponents</a>

Is this listing accurate, or do I need to add/remove any schools...

---

Same question applies for all the Big East schools..

What conference is Middle TN in now and are they still Division IAA? Wouldn't it be better if UofL played an in state opponent to keep the money at home? I'm sure Eastern or Murray would love to have a big payday without traveling big miles to have their head handed to them on a platter. Their fans would be able to see them play and everything. If it's a matter of playing Dv IA schools, UofL should help WKU upgrade it's schedule because they are on the brink of becoming IA and would need to have a certain percent of their games against IA schools. Why Middle TN?

Maybe I am wrong but that is what I thought. 03-confused We played them in 2004 they returned the favor in 2006.

I checked the main Louisville fan site I am on and that is the look of things, Miami, Kentucky and Middle Tennessee state(why?) are the only locked down OOC teams as of now.

Hopefully someone can answer your question...it seems you got the info off a website. Is it an official website? I'm still interested in Why Middle TN. My post sends your question back to the top so hopefully we both might get a response.

The info I have about Middle Tennessee is that it's a 2-for-1:

2006 - Louisville vs. Middle Tennessee (in Nashville)
2007 - Middle Tennessee at Louisville
2008 - Middle Tennessee at Louisville

From the official <a href='http://www.goblueraiders.com/?go=story&doc=4061' target='_blank'>Middle Tennessee sports site</a>:
Quote:The Blue Raiders have now set their home schedule over the next three years to include a team each season from one of the power conferences. In 2006, Middle Tennessee will host Louisville of the Big East in Nashville at The Coliseum, and then take on the Cavaliers in Murfreesboro in 2007. Maryland will become the second ACC team to play at Floyd Stadium in as many years when the Terrapins visit Murfreesboro in 2008.
