Everyone expected UNT to do well under the new coaches, and with the commitment being made to football. This game may be the turning point for this team.

Wow. That was a lot of fun.

I am absolutely baffled about how we gave up 21 points there at the end other than getting careless.

One of the touchdowns they scored on, the previous play the right corner Royce Hill(Who had played an absolutely brilliant game up to that point) stopped a run off tackle to his side and lost a cleat. He proceeded to lay on the ground until the snapped the ball and a WR went unaccounted for. Absolutely frustrating to see him do that, idc if your cleats off, the game is still live and their running the hurry up, line up with one shoe instead of sitting on the ground. Blah...

Can't complain, first win in apogee stadium, but only 21k in attendance. I am kind of worried about attendance for conference play, but this W should boost it for the next home game, up next is Tulsa, I know I'm drinking kool aid right now, but I think we have a shot. I absolutely am not predicting a win yet, not by any means, gotta watch some tape on Tulsa first. But this is encouraging.

Go mean green.

It was McCord that lost his shoe not Hill. The two games that we have had at our new stadium have been two of the worst officiated games I have ever seen and not in our favor.

RE: Indiana 21 vs North Texas 24, FINAL
I'm really excited about our win, but we left too many points on the field, and made some bad mistakes down the stretch in the 4th. The bad snap on the first drive probably cost us 3 points. Both of Dunbars 1st quarter fumbles occurred in Indiana territory. We did get conservative in the second half. Thompson's pick was returned for a TD, so we can't put that on our defense. In the 4th quarter when our defense gave up 2 TDs, we were playing a lot of back ups. This game really was not as close as the score. I take my hat off to coach Mac for not wanting to embarrass coach Wilson. And, I gained a great amount of respect for Indiana and their fans. Their team chose to have their pre-game talk on the 40, as to not celebrate on our 50 yard line logo. The Indiana fans were very kind and complementary of our stadium and community. I hope they turn it around. they are the kind of people you want to root for.

The game felt, and should have been, 50-0.

UNT just might have a shot against Tulsa.

Although...if UNT did as poorly as they did against FIU, Tulsa probably has the firepower to blow the Mean Green away.
