Enjoy your week as well.

Matt, you're a pretty level headed guy.

Neither of those facts you posted will disrupt my sleep patterns one bit.

Neither will a Cajuns loss to FIU, for what its worth. I fully expect it, but I hope against hope that we can shock the world.

No one has expected us to win more than three games this season. Now three games into the season, we're already 2/3 of the way there and 1/3 of the way to bowl eligibility.

My season has met my expectations, so far. Has yours?

Astro, That's why i quit posting here, How can you have a conversation with a guy who says" Nicholls State hasn't won a game "Except for the one they Won"..When Smack becomes Stupid, i can't deal with it.

Play the schedule that NT has and you would be 0-3 as well...you are about to get a taste of FIU next week. Enjoy!

Wait, you guys can say UL is too high or you are going to beat the Cajuns at home this year, but Zee says you are staring 0-4 in the face and he is arrogant? It's all a matter of opinion MG61, and others are allowed to have one as well brother. I can tell you this, UL's offense is terrible and I don't know how the season will play out. FIU will be major favorites against the Cajuns this week, so I don't expect our offense will have any success against their defense. That being said, the Cajuns have beaten the two teams they were suppose to thus far. Actually, Kent State was favored in that game as well.

I'm pretty sure Zeebart is the first one who started throwing out smack. Instead of just rebutting his disagreement with MG61, he takes a shot at our football team. My apologies for forgetting that Louisiana-Lafayette fans are the only ones allowed to defend their school, as I did. In fact, I just threw out some facts. We will just have to wait and see how things go tihs weekend, but 0-4 is staring NT less in the face than ULL getting a butt beating from FIU.

EDITED to correctly refer to the school in our conference rather than the private school in....Penssylvania I think. Wherever Lafayette University is...

Matt, you may be right about the FIU game. But something tells me that as bad as Indiana has played, UNT fans will celebrating another moral victory against a bad Big 10 team. Oh and that Lafayette team...well they will be 2-2 while the UNT team will be a identifiable 0-4 at the bottom of the SBC. Have a good week sir. 04-rock

How is this for perspective, Houston and FIU are getting Top 25 votes. Alabama is the only Top 25 team you have played at this point. UNT’s performance has been abysmal in all three games; you have nothing to hang your hat on today. At this point, it may be wise to leave the Cajuns out of your conversations concerning power rankings until your program actually accomplishes something this season, because they actually have 2 wins today!

Last time I checked, they both count in the win column. Maybe UNT should have scheduled Evangel?05-mafia

Stop picking on the poor (not so) Mean Green. After all they are the best 0-3 team in the conference. 03-lmfao

Yes as a matter of fact, most NT fans thought the record would be 0-3 at this point. Congrats on ULL start but frankly it doesn't prove anymore than NT's start other than your schedule was much easier. Wait till you win a couple of Belt games to crow.

Just to add to it, they have the probability of each team winning games. the games they play, so I'm gonna post their projected records as well...

FIU - 12-0
Troy - 8-4
ASU - 7-4-1*
UL Ragin Cajuns - 6-6
ULM - 5-6-1*
MT - 5-7
UNT - 2-10
FAU - 2-10
WKU - 0-12

*this is for where games showed up on the massey rating system as a 50% probability

Again, don't shoot the messenger, this isn't exactly my prediction, its just what the massey rating system projects. If you want to check it out yourself, go to http://masseyratings.com/team.php?t=11604&s=107811 and click on each team in the conference and it will show the probabilities of winning.

With all that said, if this outcome would happen, this would mean that we might have as many as 5 teams bowl eligible, which would be a huge step forward for the conference.

Tuff, interesting stuff. It seems to be within a touchdown on either side in terms of accuracy in games already decided. Also liked that they included historical records dating back 8 years.
We'll see.
