RE: Week 4 Games
I've been wrong before but I expect ASU to win and do so convincingly. UCA got thumped last week by Sam Houston and the Bears QB (transfer from Arkansas) suffered his 2nd concussion in as many weeks and won't play Saturday. He got the first concussion after 4 sacks and 18 knockdowns at La.Tech the week before.

UCA cannot protect the QB and they face an ASU squad that is averaging 3.3 sacks a game and 8.3 tackles for loss. With 2 sacks and 8 tackles for loss against Va.Tech, ASU can bring pressure.

RE: Week 4 Games
I think ASU will give up a few points to UCA simply because our defense will give up the big plays occasionally, but we dont give up many. In addition, UCA's defense is pretty bad. Gave up 600 yards to La Tech, and 31 points to Sam Houston. They get torched by even mediocre rushing attacks. I could see us scoring a ton of points in this one, and then giving up about 14 or so on the other end.

The only thing I can say for UCA so far after seeing them on tape is they are slightly better then Memphis, and we could have scored about 80 on Memphis if we tried

Well with WKU having a bye week this week, I am wondering if we will still lose?

Thanks MW. I think so too. I'm concerned about Nix, but he has a toe injury and might not be 100%. I fully believe USA takes this game.

If you watched the USA-NC State game you would have seen that USA competed and really played well against NC State. USA made a couple mistakes, but the refs made some very poor calls that cost USA points, field position, and momentum. In the end USA had 9 penalties while NC State had 1. Lots of bad calls in that game. USA actually limited them to less than 100 yards rushing. Our top back ran for 117 yards on them. The game was much closer than the final score indicated. I'm excited to see this team against Kent State this weekend.

The Cajuns Defense is really good, and FIU without TY just doesnt have the same kind of potency on offense. I Don't think they'll score over 30, but I think they'll get close though. I predicted in the other thread that FIU will win about 28-17, I could easily see us being held to only 14 or maybe (heaven forbid) even fewer. I think this game will be a lower(ish) scoring game, I highly doubt that either team hits 35 points.

TY is probable, so I am factoring him in. I just hope we beat the points...

Utah State put 38 on them. Then again I haven't watched the owls play yet this season.

No one has because we really havent played. When you only have 4 total first downs in 120 minuts of football, thats not playing.

MSU game we had 1 first down and 48 yards of TOTAL offense for the entire game. I've NEVER seen a performance like that EVER.

We'll take our check, pray we can move the ball a bit, and hope that no one gets hurt. The real season for FAU starts next week against UNT.
