RE: North Texas vs (2) Alabama, Game Thread
I think we can beat the spread, but I'd rather go easy on our starters and save them for conference play. McCarney has this team improving. We are not a deep team and can't afford to lose key players to injury.

I hate to say it, but we all know this is a paycheck game. Injuries will hurt our chances of competing against teams like Indiana, WKU, ULL, and FAU. We need to come out of this game healthy.

RE: North Texas 0 vs (2) Alabama 41, FINAL
North Texas did some good things despite the score. It was 20 -0 at the half. North Texas recorded several sacks and forced two fumbles. We are not deep and Alabama wore us down. We had the ball down inside the 10 near the end of the game, and could have kicked a field goal. With the score so far out of reach, McCarney went for the TD on 4th and goal, and we didn't score. North Texas is improving.

I'm proud of our team, and I can't wait for Indiana next week.
