This is good news. The City of Chicago can use the money to help mitigate fiscal austerity measures, including budget cuts. If Daley can suffer by having his security detail cut in half, SF parkers can feel some pain, too.

Yeah, but people will park at the 31st lot which is cheaper, but a longer walk to the stadium...I have always parked in the South lot for all sporting events at SF...

I am not sure about this. Usually they have this lot listed on SF parking. I didn't see it. I park their for bears games. I would guess the would need to open it, even with a less than sell out crowd.

RE: Parking Prices
McCormick Place Lots A&C are $19
31st St. Lot B is $14

Not sure if tailgating is allowed in those lots??

Link to McCormick Place Parking

I believe I parked in Lot C near McCormick Place Lakeside Center for the Iowa game in 2007. Worked out well, wasn't too far to meet up with the Huskiemobile on the Waldron Deck.

A AND C are always 19 I think, even game day. B (31st sw) is 26 I think for bear games, and guessing the same if open for tailgating.

The parking is ridiculous. I am definitely going to park at the Millenium garages or somewhere else and walk.

Last year I parked at McCormick for a Bears game and it isn't a bad walk and I think it was $25.

RE: Parking Prices
Parking in the 31st Street lot is $50 for an RV and anywhere from $20 to $25 for a car. The $14 is a per-day rate for vendors using McCormick Place during a show.

It is a bit of a walk, but is alot better tailgate lot than most.
