No matter what some have said about his coaching abilities and how he left the Huskies, Jerry Kill is a fine human being. Minnesotans are realizing that.

RE: Good read on Coach Kill....
Nice article. I used to think the image people portrayed @ was what they are. It took a while to figure out that is not what you are, and to see it was nothing but a fascade for most to advance and keep their job since their superior was doin it, and the superior like their "attitude". The image is not what many are outside of work and work friends. Many who portrayed a happy go lucky were miserable, angry and did have a family and friends. And many who seemed they wanted to be anywhere but there but still worked hard were not hiding it,but in reality had a very satisifying family life and good friends very different from those around them 8-10 hrs a day.

The response to the improbable loss to NMSU was quite muted up here, considering what happened to Coach Kill.

Very good article. Shows how good a guy he really is, no matter how some of you changed your feelings because of how he left.

Jerry Kill is a good man. He gave his damndest for NIU...and for that I appreciate. I would think he is not long for the role of head coach given his health. It is painfully clear that his health issues are more dramatic than he has ever let on. I dont' want to read his premature obituary.

Unfortunately, I don't see him lasting long in Minnesota. That's too bad.
