Biggest Week In The History Of The Belt For Attendance
Without question, this was the biggest week for true home attendance in the history of Sun Belt football.

30,502 MT v Georgia Tech
29,872 Arkansas State v Memphis
28,075 North Texas v Houston
26,532 ULM v Grambling
19,409 WKU v Navy

26,878 average for the 5 home games........ OUTSTANDING 04-cheers

ADD USA
18,136 USA v Lamar

25,421 average for the 6 home games

Those are some good home attendance numbers for the SBC . . I suspect stAte will be well over 30K when UCA comes to Jonesboro.

RE: Biggest Week In The History Of The Belt For Attendance
Great week for SBC. WKU got a little unlucky with attendance. The weather was beautiful with tailgaters all over campus for most of the day.

As the game was getting ready to kickoff, a storm cloud rolls in and it rained hard for about 15-20 minutes. I would guess a good number of those fans left because they (& kids) got soaked. I would say it cost us another 1-2K fans...

So much for my guess that UNT would have the highest attendance this week.

I was pretty happy with our attendance. The only seats without butts in them were top corners or wingzone and the unsold tix from Houston. 2k shy of a sellout. All full price tickets, no promos at all.

This is what happens when you schedule appropriately! And it also helped that the teams with the small stadiums didn't play at home this week (FIU/FAU)

I'm going to borrow a movie quote and change it up a bit:
If you play well known teams, they will come. 04-cheers

Great night for us in wins and attendance last night SBC! Keep up the great work.

That's what I keep saying. Some of yall put waaaaayyy to much stock into market size. It's 85% about who you play, not what city you play in.

I can't wait til the day when people are showing up to see our teams play, not the opponent.

Kind of sucks for ASU that we didn't sell-out officially, but in reality there were more ASU fans than ever before. It was the Memphis fans that didn't travel. I now understand why.

ULM didn't sell out this time, but we had WAY more ULM fans than Grambling fans this game, unlike last time.

this is kind of neat...

Middle Tennessee was celebrating its 100th birthday at Saturday's game...

video is time lapse of stadium for game while audio is of Band of Blue playing Happy Birthday for the university's 100th...

I was there, great crowd. I think GT brought more fans than Virginia, Maryland, Minnesota and Memphis. Memphis was probably the 2nd most visiting fans that I've seen.
