Let a person who is going to watch the game make the thread. Then, they can go back and edit the thread title to reflect the score as the game progresses, instead of waiting until you come back around after the week is over.

Tried that last season, and that's what gave me this idea, If we wait for others to create threads some games never get posted due to lack of interest or for what ever reason. I start threads because I like reading other's take on their game.

I usually update scores within each thread as each game progresses. I will only update a score if no one else is posting updates to the game. The final score is always annotated in the thread title immediately after the game is over. I never wait until the week is over to update thread titles. If it's that important for you to follow scores in the thread title you may want go to your favorite sport site and follow a game tracker.
