So far we've made Florida State go three-and-out twice, same for us. No score.

It doesn't look like ULM is going to score today. A first down is iffy.

7-0 FSU after the first quarter. Both teams have 45 yards of total offense each. The Seminoles have 3 rushing yards.

RE: ULM 0 vs (6) Florida State 34, FINAL
Despite the score, I was quite pleased with our defense. FSU possibly has the best receiver corps in the country and I don't think any SBC secondary would have done any better. The Seminoles running game had a few successes but generally speaking we shut that down.

We couldn't do a lot with the offense since FSU's defensive speed was amazing. Going east-west was a useless gesture but we did have some good yardage plays going up the middle but not enough. We certainly didn't open up our offense enough but maybe it wouldn't have mattered. After all, we were playing the #6 team and the outcome was not unexpected. I saw enough to make me optimistic for Sun Belt play.

Wrong, but they are pretty good. Ok State has the best WR's in the country and a good QB to boot.

You guys D looked really good, but the offense was severely over matched against FSU. Good showing though.
