Lead Blocker?
EMU doesn't have a fullback. Just wondering who will be the lead blocker on short yardage situations.

Marrow could have been a stud at EMU but now he's still waiting to hear from the NCAA for this season. Idiot!01-wingedeagle

The Heavy set untill Saturday was double tight of Hoskins and Gudejko w/ Bynum at full back.

Erbes ran some TE in the spring. I could see him moving back in that set.

We are in deep doo-doo because Gudejko has a broken leg and may be out for a while. What's our next option do we have left? Brooks? He had a wrapped knee.. He wasn't in any type of shape anyway...

This is why I always thought Marrow was more important to the team then perhaps many here.

He would have filled a role that no one else does well.

RE: Lead Blocker?
I thought I heard Coach English this morning, talk about tight-end Brooks, coming along, and being very pleased with tight-end Tyreese Russell. I don't think the tight-end position is one to worry about. Remember the "Fridge" of the Chicago Bears? Unless rules are different in college football about using linemen in the backfield, it's a moot point.
