Well he did "quit" but it was certainly for legitimate health reasons. I'll admit from the title it sounded like he just walked off the team.

Best of luck to the young man on his health.

Are the trojans trying to get the other sunbelt teams to underestimate the strength of their D? 05-stirthepot

Sorry to hear that about the young man. Hope he takes care of his health and stays in school.

ULM had Zach Rhodes leave the year before last. We all thought that he would push Revell for the starting job but he up and left the team in the summer before practice started. No one had an idea as to why. He walked back on last year and was able to play some and finish out his college career. Come to find out, his father was very ill and he dropped out of school to go and work and help support the family.

All too often we fans get tied up on some of the smallest things and get all pissy with each other and forget that these are young men playing a game to entertain us. I hate to say it, but there are things more important than playing football and sometimes these young men have to do what is right for the family and for their health.

yeah, don't get me wrong, I never want to see anyone injured or have health complications, but I don't mind he is off the team.

Seriously... I wish him the best!

Corley has been through a lot in the last few years. He loves the game of football and was hoping to be 100% for this season. Health problems have hampered him throughout his career at Troy.
