I would take WKU and Troy strictly for rivalry and geographical reasons.

Western would be my first choice in almost any situation, but my second choice would probably depend on where we were going and what the footprint of that conference was. If we were headed to CUSA and UCF was no longer in the conference, I would choose between FAU and FIU.

I'd take WKU and MTSU.

Troy and MTSU.

FAU & a Fill in either Troy/ASU/MTSU... in that order

FIU & MTSU.

For both Rivalary and Geographic reasons.

I too would say the same!

MTSU and Arkansas State.

Troy and Louisiana because they just feel similar to ASU and Jonesboro in many ways to me. Solid core of fans in a smaller city where they are the only thing in town.

And I was thinking Troy and stAte for very similar reasons, with USA being a very close third (based upon its strength in hoops and baseball).

Hard choice between Troy and USA, the Jags are in an ideal market for a good overall program. Easy drive for Cajun fans and football should be solid. Troy is it in football, but baseball has also become very good...don't like the drive as compared to USA. ASU and the Cajuns have been tied together for some time....they would certainly suffer withdrawl symptons from ULM.

Troy & stAte...with FIU or FAU being a close 3rd.

Well since we are not SBC members this is a way out hypothetical but i'd take MTSU and Troy :)

Panama would take their new rival Clark Atlanta to their conference. I hope for your guys sake you don't lose that one to open the season.

If you're leaving the conference, it's because you want to be somewhere else with a new set of conference mates....... so why would you want to take anyone ?:python:
