Nice review. Goin see them on the 13th at House of Blues. They came down and put on a free show that kicked ass in the French Quarter back in October.

One of the few "new age" hard rock bands that truly rock.

Yeah Caleb does great reviews rather quickly. Awesome dude to talk to as well

I HATE Nickleback but the unbiased truth is the album has 5 good songs.

I guess when it comes to Nickelback, they've always come across to me as uninteresting pop-like songs masquerading as rock...except they fell into the vicious trap of being overly repetitive because something worked early in their careers (see 3 Doors Down).

As a band, I won't listen to them...and it I were to try and stack my music nerd cred against others and start reviewing albums, I would very intentionally avoid Nickelback.

Except that 3 Doors Down can actually write some fairly enjoyable songs. Nothing great, but nothing bad either IMO.

Nickelcrap makes me wanna puke.

I've been avoiding mainstream stuff but my staff is growing plus mainstream stuff brings in the views so I kinda had to take some hits like Nickelback.
