Yeah, that comment was an intentional slap at the non-AQ conferences . . 01-wingedeagle

I'd love to watch some Sun Belt games, especially during the week. Are you all going to be on tv more this year? (Not meant to be a smart @ss comment, just curious)

I disagree on scheduling.

First you taking a crap shoot guessing who will provide the big showdown (who would have called for FIU-Troy last year to be the last game?).
Second you want your rivalries in October. We don't draw that well so play the rivalries in mid-October before the fan interest fades with the cold. With the exception of FIU-FAU the rivalry games risk attendance killing weather after the calendar moves into November.

Funny that they mention Arkansas State as having the potential to upset Illinois then when they talk about the need for a big September 3rd, Illinois isn't mentioned as a team the Belt needs to upset.

Seems to be about the same as previous years. Some games will likely be added to ESPN3 and the like.

I enjoy watching the Belt as well, and hope to see the new stadiums in Denton and Boca on the tube this fall.

I'd love to get a weekly game mid-week, but I think I'm in the minority. I think it would be good for the Conference to get our product out there more.
