I took a look at the first few on Stewart's screen...
Just to touch on a few of these:
Debt -- Palin was wrong about the "more debt under Obama than all other presidents combined", but it was probably more a gaffe/misspeak than an intentional lie, as the truth is that Obama "addded more to the debt than the outstanding debt of the previous 43 presidents combined."
Muslim Brotherhood vs. Israel -- Fox might've just pulled the report from this
Jerusalem Post article: "A leading member of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt told the Arabic-language Iranian news network Al-Alam on Monday that he would like to see the Egyptian people prepare for war against Israel, according to the Hebrew-language business newspaper Calcalist."
Texas Board of Education -- Fox probably pulled this
Houston Chronicle story: "experts recommended that public schools teach about Diwali, which is celebrated by Hindus and some Buddhists, but drop mention of Christmas."
From these three items alone, looks like Palin erred on the first one (no surprise there) and maybe the other two were just shaky sources? I dunno. It may be false information, but nothing I'd classify as "over the top lies." That said, I won't deny Fox pumps some heavy conservative bias into their programs, I don't think that's a surprise to anyone. Obviously Jon Stewart, who looked like he was reeling from a bit of sour grapes, could do similar lists for other network programs. But I understand his political lean and his desire to please his like-minded audience, so I guess I can't fault him.
Come 2012, hopefully the left finally starts getting away from the "Fox lies!", "Palin is stoopid!" and "Tea Partiers are racist!" mantras and actually starts to address the debt, unemployment, Libya, immigration, etc, issues at hand.
