Bipartisanship is still alive: Check out the vote in the house

Say what you will about the outcome, but this is a bigger issue than you may think. The power of the president has grown too great and has been that way for quite some time. Regardless of which party was is in the White House, it's time for the 3 branches of gov't to come into balance.

I've got to hand it to the dems for being somewhat consistent on this, even if the loud lefties in the media are quiet on Libya folks like Nadler are throwing around the same terms for this as Iraq..

Looks like some congressmen are trying to position themselves for the next election. This vote does nothing. When they pull the funding...then Ill praise them.

You think the SCOTUS would get in the middle of this Skirmish between branches of gov't?

I doubt it would but just because the SC wants no part of this trainwreck does not make it legal..
Greedy presidents and cowardly lazy presidents has been the story for at least 16 years...

It isn't legal, but whose to declare it illegal. Then who is going to enforce it.

If I go out and build a guest house on my property without any permits I've done something illegal. Now if no inspector comes by to say "this work requires a permit" and I am not fined... Does that make it legal?
Congress should, declare it illega and in violation of the war powers act. If the administration ignores them *then* the courts would get involved.

The House and the Senate would have to act in unison. Do you see that happening? The checks and balances of the 3 branches of gov't do not go far enough to be any kind of constraint. Instead of constraint, the powers have developed extreme circumvention. It's tyranny, I tell ya.
