FreedomWorks goes after Orinn Hatch
Well well well ... nice to see FreedomWorks is serious enough about the Tea Party way to go after sitting establishment RINOs.

FreedomWorks backed Mike Lee ... and now they want Jason Chaffetz to replace Orinn Hatch. Chaffetz is THE REAL DEAL. It would be GREAT to promote him to the US Senate.

So the Koch brothers and Dick Armey don't like Orin Hatch.

In what universe is Orrin Hatch not a reliable (and reasonable) conservative? We need more like him on sides of the aisle. I disagree with him on most issues but he understands the nuts and bolts of moving the legislative process forward.

I hated Orinn dating back to the days of Napster. He was bought and paid for by the RIAA and MPAA longggggggg ago.

The search of ideological purity will sadly be the death of the vast conservative movement to the detriment of our society and our nation.

I agree about Chaffetz.

Wow. You hate Hatch because he thinks that artists should be paid for their work. Gotcha.

For somebody who hates corporate America, I find it odd you'd be on the side of somebody who wanted to grant permanent anti-trust exemptions to the RIAA and MPAA. If you cared that much about the artist, you'd realize the RIAA and MPAA need to die for the artist to truly thrive.

I don't hate corporate America. I hate some of their practices. I think that "file sharing" is stealing. I understand you don't but that is probablhy just a difference in ethics. Maybe the people doing the file sharing should be shot in the head and littered on the streets for being the thugs they are! 03-lmfao

I think if we just got those monopolies out of the way, we'd have ubiquitous access to the full music and movie catalog at terrific price points, and due to the volume of sales that would drive the artists would be rolling in it. To say nothing about the pay raise they'd get from eliminating the monstrous middle man.

RE: FreedomWorks goes after Orinn Hatch
The RIAA and MPAA is a huge lobbyist group. What was passed in the Clinton administration allows the RIAA and MPAA extort settlements from Federal lawsuits against any person no matter how slim the evidence. It puts anyone with an IP address in their cross hairs. You Roberta, again have not a single clue what you are talking about or who you are laying down with. So f'ucking shut up.

Imagine Netflix with the full movie catalog and no huge delays until it reaches Netflix at $9.99/mo.

Imagine a music version of Netflix at again $9.99/mo to stream the full catalog. Your smartphone could stream via your 3G connection. You'd manage your favorites as though they were mp3's on your hard drive but streamed.

You'd have all you can eat music and video for less than the cost of a single movie ticket with a drink.

But that won't happen as long as the RIAA and MPAA exists with their government supported monopolies.
