A Cambodia Redux?
I'm not sure how to feel about this. My instincts tell me that the U.S. should not be doing this. However, when you are at war with an international organization, how do you proceed when they are flung all over the world? My thoughts are that the short term gains of killing Al Queda operatives will be drowned out by longer term problems with having good relations with the Middle East. A Pyrrhic victory at best?

RE: A Cambodia Redux?
The truth is we are at war with them, they declared war on us. They attacked us first. You have to take the fight to the enemy, whatever spiderhole they occupy. It's a double edged sword for sure. But you are either in it to win or get the f'uck out. If you don't have the stomach for the horror of war, then you will lose. If your enemy is ruthless, then you have to be ruthless.
