Hold on to your butts. What investors want to hold treasures at current interest rates? No one. Prepare for the Obaba interest rate debacle.

Interest rates went down the last two weeks. QE3 in the works. Signs say yes.

...and you like this...... you don't like this......inquiring minds want to know.

BTW, I warned about this a while back. It was either that or we were going to crash, and crash HARD. With QE3 we'll just being going down the mountainside with the parking brake 1/2 pulled.

I'm saying it makes absolutely NO SENSE for interest rates to be trending down if QE3 wasn't in the oven. That's my read anyways. You would think interest rates would start trending up.

I'm no economist, so I do not understand how QE benefits in the long run.

It doesn't. It's monetizing debt.

nomad, I just did a google for qe2. Read several links on the first page. Interesting, or maybe more correctly, scary.

Maybe because we're still on QE2? You know, which infuses money into the economy? Yeah, that ends. Once it ends, have fun with the interest rates. I'm locked in at 4.875 on the townhome and 5.1 on the big house.

It's throwing Bobby Boucher (waterboy) into your team for the regular season and finding out in post season that he's not qualified to play. How does it turn out for the team?
