03-lmfao First of all, it was only part of the problem. THere are other factors as well. Second, the people looking for $1,000-$3000(heck, I will include 4-5000) cars aren't the "middle class" for the most part. If they are, they are lower middle class. Just keep on sticking your head in the sand and blame Obama for everything.

When you deplete the supply, the demand skyrockets. This is economics 101, then again, I don't think Obama knows what the **** economics is. The liberals on this board damn sure don't.

Trickle-down? Or do you mean free-market Capitalism? There is empirical evidence that suggests free-market Capitalism works. As much as there is evidence that Socialism is an utter disaster everywhere it's tried.

How about fair-market Capitalism? Because the invisible hand of the free-market is flipping us the bird.

You're not seeing free-market Capitalism. You're seeing crony Capitalism and your buddy Obama, along with the rest of the goons, are bleeding the system dry and becoming rich as hell in the process. Free-market Capitalism isn't about picking winners and lowers and saddling industries with unfair burdens and regulations, I.e the Coal and Gas industry. It's also not about helping out one company, GM, while screwing over one of their competitors. Free-market Capitalism IS Fair-market Capitalism. The consumer picks the winners and losers.

...but thanks for being an honest Democrat and showing us how little you know about economics.

There is a difference?

Btw, what evidence is there? I think we have tried it since Raygun and it seems to me it has been an utter disaster(unless you are a billionaire). :)

Well, for xenophobic, elitist snobs, maybe. But, lots of hard-working people are doing ok, and they'd do much better w/o interference of ignorant (more likely malevolent) "do-gooders."

Ha! Corporatism is flipping you the bird if you want to be accurate. And who is in bed with the Big Corporation Capitalism? Why the democrats of course. Jeffery Imelt, CEO of GE is a big Obama supporter. Citigroup and Goldman Sachs, big democrat supporters. Bill Gates and Microsoft? If you guessed big democrat supporters, then you would be correct.

Also, who was the biggest beneficiary of C4C? GM and Chrysler were supposed to be; however, I believe most people bought Honda and Toyota cars. Fortunately for us, Honda and Toyota made vehicles made in the U.S. put more Americans to work than the GM, Ford and Chrysler made cars. Ironic, but true.

Reading comprehension. That was a car for their teenager, not their primary family car. I'd say that's a very middle class price range for someone buying a first car for their son or daughter.

Also, if it makes Robert N feel any better, I'd be happy to state that Obama hurts the poorest and most vulnerable in society. Does this make it easier to stomach?

Are you REALLY arguing that it's not as bad as he claimed because he hurt POOR people rather than the middle class??
