Sun Belt adds six ESPN3 games
http://www.kait8.com/story/14859952/sun-belt-announce

NEW ORLEANS – The Sun Belt Conference announced today that six football games for the upcoming season will be broadcast on ESPN3.

All six games are Sun Belt Conference home games – two games each will be at North Texas and FIU. While Western Kentucky and Middle Tennessee will also have one game each broadcasted.

The September 10 broadcast between Houston and North Texas will mark the grand opening of North Texas' new state-of-the-art football facility.

ESPN3 is a broadband network for live sports programming that harnesses the quality ESPN has built through its TV networks and delivers online sports programming to fans through a rich, interactive, and easy-to-use experience.

ESPN3 broadcasts thousands of live games and events online each year. A majority of the events are exclusive to ESPN3, while others are broadband-enhanced versions of games from one of ESPN's TV networks.

The Sun Belt Conference previously released a slate of games for the ESPN family of networks: North Texas at FIU (September 1 - ESPN3), Kentucky at Western Kentucky (at LP Field - September 1 - ESPNU), Troy at Clemson (September 3 - ESPN3), Louisiana-Monroe at Florida State (September 3 - ESPNU), FIU at Louisville (September 9 - ESPN), Western Kentucky at Middle Tennessee (October 6 - ESPNU), FIU at Arkansas State (October 18 - ESPN2) and Troy at FIU (October 25 - ESPN2).

Additional games could be added to the ESPN family of networks as well as other networks. The Sun Belt Conference will release its Sun Belt Network Television package on July 18.

FAU vs Michigan state will be @12 non EST, and will either be shown on ESPN or ESPN2. 3 years in a row this game has been televised.

That's awesome. I realize South Alabama isn't SBC this year but they'll also be on ESPN3 when they head off to NC State for (most probably) their first "L" ever. Oh well, I just hope they give 'em a good game :-)

Considering South Alabama is full of 3-star, 4-star, and one or two 5-star transfer players, I wouldn't be surprised if that game is close the entire 4 quarters.

Yeah, but we can't get home games to save our lives. It would be nice if our athletics department would step up and get us games like UNT, WKU, and MTSU have on a REGULAR basis. Having Miss State and Navy next year is great, but that's just one year. The last big home game we had was against OSU in 07. That was 4 years ago while other Belt schools get big names every year.

Not ESPN3 but ASU's Season Opener at Illinois was picked up by the Big 10 Network.

Yeah, could very well be a "blowout", but it could also be a lot closer than one might think. NC St. is a fair ACC team. Nothing less, nothing more.

Guessing the line will be NC State over USA by 40 + or - a few, I'd be taking South Alabama and the points... 03-shhhh

Airtroop, South is playing NC State, not SC State. If we were playing South Carolina State the line might be somewhat closer. Heck, we might even be favored.
