That certainly happens through a number of ways (you abuse your body, you don't ever get enough sleep, you stop applying yourself, whatever).

My guess on the gaffes is he was just tired and spoke too quickly. He has a habit of not thinking before he speaks.

I did agree that some of the other points were valid but not #1 IMO.

Which part isn't true?

I have no doubt that he's intelligent. It's just book intelligence and not experience gained though. His lack of real life experience gave him some sort of idealistic view of how the world should be and no concern over what would have to happen to get us there.

This is why I don't like presidents who have spent the great majority of their lives being groomed for the seat.

That may be news on HGTV but I think

Nah, not so much.

Are you 12 years old? You should really get to Civics class.

Really? Why is that? So some illiterate teacher can try to indoctrinate me so I'll be a happy serf?

And who are you to tell me what I need? I'm more knowledgable than you, in both depth and breadth of subjects, I work harder than you, I'm more successful than you. I seek knowledge and wisdom from those who have more of those than I do, not from fools who are busy proselytizing their cause.

...and you're a humble little fella too. I can hardly wait for your book "My Humility and How I Attained It" by Dr. Torch (if that's your REAL name)

it's actually sad because it's true.

That's why I like to watch House Hunters International, when they're in Belize or Costa Rica.

I'm a big fan of the Texas, Arizona, Colorado, and Florida houses on HH and the Italy, Nicaragua, UAE, and Costa Rica houses on HHI.

Good to see that I'm not the only one who enjoys that show.

Oh, yea, FBO, Obama is a f'ucking Genius. Maybe genius at Obscuring the Truth with a Repulsive Indifference.

Quote:Barack Obama has not released transcripts for his grades from Occidental College, Columbia University and Harvard Law. He has also not released his SAT and LSAT scores. No explanation has been offered for not releasing them.
Per the Wall Street Journal September 11, 2008, "Obama's Lost Years," Obama graduated from Columbia University (to which he transferred after his first two years at Occidental College in California), with a degree in Political Science without honors, so had a GPA less than a 3.3. His roomate Sohale Siddiqi indicated Obama itially felt alienated, felt "very lost," and used drugs to get high, which could have led to low grades initially. The roomate indicates that he then turned serious and "stopped getting high." Obama transferred to Columbia because he was concerned with urban issues. Based on his overall undergraduate GPA of less than a 3.3, Mr. Obama's admission to Harvard Law School may reflect affirmative action statutes, low grades early, then higher grades later (purely speculation) and/or other factors.

At Harvard Law School, Obama graduated Magna *** Laude, which, according to the Havard Law School website, is awarded to the top 10% of Harvard Law School students.

Also at Harvard Law School, Obama was accepted as one of 85-90 Editors of the Harvard Law Review, out of an estimated 1,000 students from the 2L and 3L classes that might have sought this honor. Obama was also elected President of the Law Review, which according to a Harvard Law spokesperson is not based at all on academics, but on other measures as would occure in any club.

I really don't care about his transcripts or where he was born. I would like an explanation for his "no lobbyist will find a job in MY White House" comment, when there are three in his cabinet.

Is being on Obama's cabinet really a job? I'm not so sure.

If you ignore the obvious and give authority and credibility to those who do not deserve it, you will never identify the tyranny forced upon you.
