Not sure...but it doesn't really matter.
The vote was a political one forced by the Republicans much like the stunt pulled by the Democrats for the vote on the Ryan plan.
Just more waste of time and our money.

Yep, she's such a great leader that even after being Obamacare's biggest cheerleader, she convinced her district to not hog all of its awesomeness to themselves and got many of them waivers exempting them from it.

RE: Not a single legislator, Dem or Repub, Voted Yea on Obama's budget.
Thanks.
But after reading up on this, this is actually a good thing in Obamacare. The businesses in question (sorry...I don't see any unions mentioned as you alluded to in your original post) had cheap insurance for their employees so the exemption let's them keep cheaper insurance thereby making it better for employees and the employer.
There is no proof of any connection between these businesses and Pelosi.

Tom, you're playing ignorant on an issue that you have no reason or justification to be ignorant about.
The cheap insurance does not meet the regulatory restrictions imposed by Obamacare. The employers have the option of providing more expensive insurance that does meet the test, or laying off employees, or some combination of both. Therefore they request a waiver. And the waivers that have been granted have been suspiciously disproportionately weighted in favor of parties that clearly support the democrats--like unions and a grossly disproportionate number of businesses in Nancy Pelosi's district. Note that this makes a mockery of the Obama promise that, "If you like your insurance you can keep it."
For that matter, it may ultimately make a mockery of, "If you like your job you can keep it." But that's okay with Obama, Pelosi, Reid, et al. People on welfare vote democrat. They're just locking in a captive constitutency.

Here is a list of all waivers:
http://www.hhs.gov/ociio/regulations/app...aiver.html
If it's so great why have 729 entities comprising 2,189,636 enrollees opted out of it? Scroll through the list...you'll see plenty of unions. In fact, they make up over 50% of them despite only accounting for 12% of the workforce. Seems just a tad disproportionate, doesn't it?

Or.. you could just look at the obvious answer staring you in the face, people in unions already have decent health care bargained for them, so they have good reason to opt out.

And the logical extension of that argument is that since that "decent health care" fails to comply with the standards imposed by Obamacare, then Obamacare must be about something other than "decent health care."
