UALR to championship game ? Now 2-0 in pool play with wins over #1 Troy and #4 WKU. Have yet to play #5 FAU.

The ONLY scenario in which UALR does not move into the championship game is if FAU beats Troy and UALR.

I tried to come up with a scenario in which a 3 way tie would come up (which UALR would then lose the tiebreaker), but that would require an 0-3 team and the only team capable of being 0-3 in Pool A is FAU. A 3 way tie would require FAU beating UALR, but then that means no team in Pool A would be 0-3 and therefore you cannot have a 3 way tie.

The only tiebreaker (head to head) that UALR can lose is to FAU and that's only if FAU beats Troy tonight.

Troy could in theory finish 0-3 should they lose out to Western and FAU...

If FAU beats Troy and UALR, and WKU beats Troy. WKU, FAU and UALR would all be 2-1, and WKU would win the pool.

If Troy wins tonight, then UALR will have already clinched a title game berth and its not even Friday yet.

Trojans will play FAU in a meaningless game on Saturday...Im curious as to how they'll set their pitching up, with an off day tomorrow and then a pseudo game Saturday.
