You must have us confused with Statesboro. 05-stirthepot

Seriously, just wondering when the non-announcement occurs.

Definitely nothing to sell at Ga State when you lose to D2 teams like Lambuth that had 700 students, went bankrupt and shut its doors during the off-season. There is a lot of crack around the Ga State campus if the Sunbelt is interested in buying that.

We're not interested in Georgia State or the crack in Atlanta, just like we're not interested in Georgia Southern or the airborne STD's in Stateboro...

East Cobb= Trailer park? Really? That must be why people from here are lovingly referred to as East Cobb Snobs, right?

The U.S. Census Bureau ranks Cobb County as the most-educated in the state of Georgia and 12th among all counties in the United States.

It has ranked among top 100 wealthiest counties in the United States.

Granted, wiki isn't exactly the "word of God" but it's not like it's a totally useless reference either.

LOL....and he (MTPikap) pulls the I am so much better card on a school that has higher average freshman SATs and better academics than his own. Not to mention that we used to kick his school's A** all the time on our way to 6 national titles while his school has managed to win nothing and has continued to win nothing since moving up to the SB. Damn after 30 years of winning nothing I think I would just give up. You need to send your smack to Louisianna SB schools....you may actually have something on them.

Gotta love these people that think they are so much better, but their own situation is worse.

Cobb parkway where you grew up is a dump. Come down to Buckhead and I'll give you a tour.

Cobb Parkway runs parallel to Dallas highway about a mile north. What's on Dallas highway? The Avenue West Cobb. Cobb Parkway is west of 75. A small portion of Cobb Parkway(from Vinings to maybe the Marietta square) is Southeast Cobb, but it runs Northwest out of Southeast Cobb and while that stretch from 285 to the square has seen better days, I'd say that the stretch up around Barrett Parkway and Chastain(clearly West Cobb) is worse.

Anyhow, I live in Northeast Cobb, almost into Roswell, nowhere near the "slums" of Cobb Parkway.

Cobb parkway where you grew up is a dump. Come down to Buckhead and I'll give you a tour.

Didn't grow up anywhere near Cobb Parkway, I grew up in Northeast Cobb and I was just in Buckhead last night, no tour needed thank you.

Your football smack is weak, the last time we played was 1995, now I don't know about you, but I was 12 in 1995 and had never heard of Georgia Southern or Middle Tennessee. In 2011 we'd beat you easily in Murfreesboro, Statesboro and anywhere in between.

Your academic smack is weak as well. The academics at Southern have improved greatly due to keeping well educated kids(like those from Cobb County) in state and driving up the competitiveness thanks to the hope scholarship. Georgia has had the lottery scholarship much longer than Tennessee, but it's having the same effect on Tennessee schools as well. Neither of Middle Tennessee or Georgia Southern are bastions of elite academia by any means, I could have gone to Georgia Southern if I wanted, but while a fine school and a fun place to party, I had no interest. And FWIW-as much as the SAT is pushed in Georgia, the ACT is pushed just as hard in Tennessee. So the SAT stat is a bit misleading.

Now, outside of Statesboro no one gives a damn about Georgia Southern except the CDC's research team. I can assure you no one in the Sun Belt cares and in twenty years when Georgia Southern is still in the FCS, that will still be the case.

Lastly, please keep your private messages to yourself. Your presence here is annoying enough as it is, sending me threatening private messages is just plain juvenile.
