Southern Miss and Western Kentucky have agreed to a home-and-home series in football and basketball, the WKU athletic department announced this week.

The USM football team will travel to Western Kentucky on Sept. 22, 2012, for a game at Houchens Industries-L.T. Smith Stadium in Bowling Green, Ky.

The Western Kentucky football squad will make the trip to Hattiesburg during the 2016 season.

The WKU men’s basketball team will take on USM at Reed Green Coliseum in the 2012-13 campaign. The Golden Eagles will travel to take on Western Kentucky during the 2013-14 season.

WKU has won all three men’s basketball games against USM in 1958, 2001 and 2002.

The home and home for football is VERY nice.

Southern Miss seems to be working its way through the Belt.

sure wish they'd be up for the same with Troy, that would be a great regular series for us.
