Don't look now, but Troy lost to ULM which means the lead is now shared between FIU and Troy.

ASU Comes back from a big deficit to take a 2 run 8th inning lead over FIU, but the Panthers manage to tie it just before the Travel Curfew hits at 3:15 CT

The game ends in an 8 all tie, ending FIU's winning streak at 15, and makes all sorts of fun league championship scenarios, and Final spot in monroe scenarios for both teams

Because it ends in a tie, Everybody gets 1 point for free for the Final game. Meaning the max point total for the FIU/ASU series is 5. There are no sweep bonuses, because in theory it wasnt a sweep.

What? The eighth was the last completed inning, both teams had three outs in the frame.

FAU takes the series against UALR 2-1.

It did. Conference rules require that no NEW inning may start after the curfew time, but they must finish both halves (if needed) of the inning currently being played before the game is over

The last completed inning was the 8th. it was a tie score. It records as a tie in the book. Neither of us are to happy about it, had we won, we would have clinched a ticket to Monroe. Now we need either one win against UALR, or one loss by both MTSU and ULM this weekend.
