Nice video. This is a lot better than when I heard them three years ago at Fouts. Good focused sound.

Hmm. I'm disappointed the trumpets didn't go up on the harmony at the end of "No One Mourns the Wicked". I was waiting for it...

Yeah, at Troy. I played with LT Hughes for two years before he transferred to south.

I've only played with LT once, so I don't know exactly how good he is, but I have heard he is good.

North Texas does have one of the best music schools in the country and are very well known for their percussion, but they don't even have the best band in the conference.

Well, just because you don't agree with someone, it doesn't mean they are wrong and you are right. 05-nono

You're right, old buddy from Bleacher Report can make definitive statements like UNT has the best band in the country and I can make definitive comments like they're probably the third best band in the conference and neither one of us are "right" or "wrong, but I bet far fewer will take exception to my statement...

I'm pretty sure the only place Bleacher Report is not considered a joke, is in the mind's of the writers themselves...well that and maybe just above the basements they are written in, by the people who own the houses the "journalists" live in.

I don't think North Texas has the best marching band in the conference either. But they do have the best music school in the conference, and it's not even close.
